This standard is intended for the guidance of the industry, including manufacturers, engineers, installers, contractors and users. The values reported using this standard allow the comparison of energy consumption within each of the following product categories: remote commercial refrigerated display merchandisers, remote commercial refrigerated storage cabinets, self-contained commercial refrigerated display merchandisers and self-contained commercial refrigerated storage cabinets. This standard supersedes ARI Standard 1200-2004 and can be downloaded from the ARI Web site: www.ari.org/MemberPortal/standardscert/standards/default.htm.
